Hello hello HELLO!

If you're reading this, welcome to our new little corner of the internet! Allow me to formally introduce you to the Neonatal Lifeline website and blog!

Today marks a big step for me. After years of pouring my heart and humor into social media and the community that is @thatnursetia, I realized something important— these platforms come and go, but I needed a space that’s truly mine. When that one app-- sorry, I forget that the algorithm can't control me here! When TIKTOK was unexpectedly "banned" for most of the day back in January, it was a wake-up call. I mean, what if tomorrow I woke up and poof— all of my content, connections, and conversations disappeared? Just the thought of it created a pit in my stomach that I couldn't get rid of.

Without further ado.. the blog introduction!

I decided to take control and carve out a permanent space to share, create, and connect. This website is where you'll find everything from helpful tips to reflections about my journey as a NICU nurse, educator, transport nurse, and (let’s be real) a meme enthusiast.

Social media will always be a huge part of what I do, but this website? It’s like my home base. A place where the algorithms can’t dictate who gets to see my work or who I get to connect with. This long awaited blog introduction comes with so much anxiety and nerves, but also.. strangely enough, a peace of mind and hopefulness for the future.

I’m excited to see where this journey takes us. Whether you're here for laughs, learning, or just to hang out, I’m so grateful to have you along for the ride. Let’s build something amazing— together.

Stay tuned!
